To DJ or not to DJ, that is the question...

To DJ at the ceremony or not to DJ? We'll have a DJ for the reception, but should we have one for the ceremony? No, no the guy won't be announcing us or mixing bad-A$$ jams while we are saying our vows. What they will provide is 2 microphones and sound equipment so all the guests are able to hear the ceremony. I'm not sure we'll need it, but I wouldn't want guest who are hard of hearing to miss out on anything. With our smaller wedding (ahem, 100 guests), maybe the last row would need it? Or maybe the third row will need it?

We may (or may not) have a string quartet for the ceremony so music could be covered already.

Have you been to a wedding where you could not hear anything?
